Course Description
Marketing is the business function that identifies customer needs and wants, determines which target markets the organization can serve best, and designs appropriate products, services, and programs to serve these markets. It guides the entire organization. In this course students will obtain the skills needed to understand the various functions of marketing and how they work together in a business. This course introduces students to marketing careers and sets the stage for further study of marketing in higher education. Students are encouraged to join FBLA, a student organization whose goal is for students to develop a “career success kit” to carry into their business and personal lives.
